AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY’S HOPE GALA 11/16/18

Please help the American Cancer Society save lives, celebrates lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

Join us at the American Cancer Society 11th annual Hope Gala – Black and White Masquerade on November 16, 2018 for a one-of-a-kind evening, with great food featuring Smart Chicken, specialty cocktails, dancing, a spectacular auction, and much more.

While most people know the American Cancer Society for our research, your support allows us to do so much more. We attack cancer from every angle. We promote healthy lifestyles to help you prevent cancer. We research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments. We fight for lifesaving policy changes. We provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer. And we do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

By taking what we’ve learned through research and translating it into action, we’ve contributed to a 25% decrease in the overall US cancer death rate since 1991. That means that we helped avoid nearly 2.1 million cancer deaths during that time.

We believe we have an opportunity, and a responsibility, to lead the cancer right in a way no other organization can.  Now, that is a reason to celebrate.  We can’t wait to see you there!

They have 8 lanes to bowl, pool tables, shuffle board and a few other games.  Reservations to bowl are needed during the busy seasons. The Rec Center is just a short walk away and has a full gym, indoor pool area with large water slide, basketball courts, climbing wall, and indoor walking/running track.  Simply show up and  buy a day pass to the rec center.  Hiking and mountain bike trails literally out the front door.   There are four 2018 nice mountain bikes in the garage, and ready for you to use.
